Barrett signs up to help Little Havens

SOUTHEND United captain Adam Barrett has taken a break from Blues' push for promotion to help raise money for Little Havens Childrens Hospice.
The defender has signed a series of posters which are available at £3 from the club shop at Roots Hall.
And Barrett, who this week also visited the children at the Thundersley hospice, is hoping to raise as much money as possible.
"Being a local lad I've always been aware of the amazing things Little Havens do and I've wanted to do something for them for a long time," said the Shrimpers skipper.
"I became a father last year too which has changed my perspective on things and hopefully selling these posters will raise a bit of money for them to carry on the excellent things they do there."
Barrett met with hundreds of supporters during a signing earlier on this week and he is also willing to personalise any posters which people may want to purchase.
For details call the shop on 01702 351117.
