STAFF from the Phoenix Hospital gave a guided tour to physics students from a Southend school.
The A-level students, from Cecil Jones College, visited the hospital along with their deputy headteacher Julie Rogers.
They learnt about the advancements in medical technology during the hospital tour and its theatre and treatment rooms.
The tour was led by consultant eye surgeon Rajesh Aggarwal, a former Cecil Jones pupil.
